Every time a man leaves the house, it’s approved by staff and the clients are randomly drug tested during their stay as the home doesn’t allow the substances on site regardless of a person’s addiction revolving around booze, sex or the internet. For Ogle, the neighborhood was a no-brainer for her after she met Gottsman while working in Los Angeles in another rehab center and they began talking about the amount of people from Texas travelling to California to seek longer-term addiction treatment. She’s lived in the Heights for 20 years after moving to Houston for graduate school at University of Houston. Now, clients at Transcend will have the opportunity to incorporate Neurologics into their treatment plans, further helping to restore their brain health to its optimal performance. Transcend’s Houston sober living provides two experiential group sessions for our clients per house, per week. The Highest Level Of Houston Sober Living Personalized Care
The program involves meetings, goal setting, proper communication, drug tests, supervision, house inspections, and many more. One of the qualified staff (family director) contacts the loved ones of patients registered into the program, weekly, to give sober house updates on the progress of the patient. A family weekend is organized every two weeks to support and educate patients’ family members. Recreational activities such as yoga, acupuncture, and book study are offered to clients on all levels weekly.
